Mindfulness and Memoir Class

This class combines two powerful practices, mindfulness and writing, as a means of deepening self-discovery. Mindfulness and memoir writing are each independently important ways of uncovering personal truths hidden within that are otherwise often inaccessible. Combining the two together intensifies this process in ways that are unpredictable. Mindfulness practices and writing exercises will be woven together throughout the class, along with opportunities to share writing with each other. While this isn't a course in how to write a memoir, many different areas of life will be explored that might become the basis for a memoir. No previous experience in mindfulness is needed.
This class is not currently being offered, however look for upcoming retreats that are based on this format.
